From the Rioja region of north central Spain, Rioja can be red or white. The red wines hail from the Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo and Tempranillo grapes and taste of light strawberry married to lots of vanilla and mellow tannin.
PAIRS WITH chicken in tomatoe sauce, lamb stew, veal scallopini, most seafood, and cream and vinegar sauces. It will also tend well with quail or squash.
