Lasagna follows similar rules to all other Tomato-based dishes, however, there's a bit more to it than that. Since it's somewhat more complex than a simple salad, there are in fact more flavors with which to pair it. Most Italian red wines such as Barollo, Barbaresco, Chianti, and any of the Montepulciano varietals will do the trick!
