 A great rule of thumb for pairing wine with fruit is to match the coloring. Simple!



The lighter the fruit's color is (pears and grapefuits, for example), the lighter your wine pairing should be. Try it with a Viognier or a Sauvignon Blanc.



For something a little more exotic, such as a pomegranate, go with a Shiraz.



Anything in between the spectrum merits a Rosé.
