Shellfish: Shrimp

Believe it or not, Shrimp follows many of the same pairing points as Chicken:
If prepared in a light but sharp manner (such as with a lemon-butter sauce), then we recommend a light, acidic wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or a Pinot Grigio.
If, on the other hand, your Shrimp is prepared with a powerful sauce, such as Cocktail Sauce, then it will pair quite nicely with a dry Riesling or a Gewurztraminer.
