Cheese: Soft


Soft cheeses are some of the most common in Europe, but on this side of the ocean, they're a bit less-known. Creamy, decadent cheeses with a soft rind that is meant to be eaten fall into this category. A little more light-hearted than other types of cheese, these go quite well with less-imposing wines such as Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Sparkling Wines such as Champagne.
