Cheese: Semi-Soft

Semi-soft cheeses such as Gorgonzola, Bleu, and Cambozola often fall under the category– like it or not– of pungent cheeses. Despite the adjective, they're delicious! Their natural strong flavors pair very well with stronger wines, even a port. If you're in the mood for something a little less imposing, however, try pairing your semi-soft cheeses with a sharp Riesling or Gewurztraminer.
